REFEREEING Do I need to ref a match?
Yes, every player is scheduled to be the referee directly after your own match (either you win or lose) together with your opponent. Both players stay behind the court and use the LiveScore tablets to keep the score.
If you are lucky one of our certified international referees is assigned to the match. The Championships referee can assign you to another match. Or you volunteer to do one as we need all the help we can get.

CLOTHING AND ADVERTISING The WSF clothing and advertising regulations will be adhered to. In all matters of judgement or opinion arising from the interpretation of this clothing regulation, the decision of the Championships Referee shall be final.

SCORING PAR 11 scoring will be used (to 2 clear points).

SQUASH BALLS The Dunlop PRO XX ball will be used.

BAGS Please leave your bags while not playing a match in the Bag area on the sub-level, right of the show court (court 21).

RACKET SERVICE On request and operated at the Dunlop shop. Please go to the reception of the Frans Otten Stadion (located next to the tournament desk) to ask for prices and possibilities.

LIVE SCORE Live Scoring for all matches on every court
LIVE STREAMING on World Squash TV and the Olympic Channel Show Court (court 21), Court 11 and Court 20.

ANTI-DOPING TESTING Anti-doping tests will be carried out on any or all players at any time from arrival until departure. The WSF reserve the right to implement compulsory dope testing for any player participating in the World Championships. (Know the World Championships regulations)

PUBLIC TRANSPORT Depending on your travel plans and the duration of your stay, there are a number of different public transport tickets that are especially valuable for visitors of Amsterdam and the region. Which one suits your plans best?

BY CAR to the courts The venue has a paid parking lot, players and visitors can obtain a 50% reduction ticket at the reception desk. Pre-reservation is not available, but there will be plenty of space.

PHOTOGRAPHS Official photographers will take during the event and action photos by Nathalie Goossens. The photo album is accessible via the event website.

COOL WATER Is it safe to drink tap water?
It is completely safe to drink from the faucet. In the Frans Otten Stadion you can fill your bottles at the faucets in the lavatories/toilets, there will be an extra tap on the sub level near the show court. In the hotel you can safely drink the tap water as well.

FIRST AID is available during the hours matches are played.

PHYSIOTHERAPEUTIC SERVICE Physio Service will be offered daily and on request, operated by Dinon Vermeij. Located in the left corner office at the bottom of the stairs, next to the show court stands. A consult/session can be reserved via the reservation list at the Information Desk. The first consult is free of charge, further consults are at own expense.

INSURANCE AND RISKS Player’s enter the event at their own risk, in case of Force Majeure the host nor ESF or WSF can be held responsible for any caused damage.
• Players enter and play in the Championships at their own risk.
• Neither the WSF /ESF, the Host Association, the Host Club nor the Organisers,
will accept any responsibility for injury or other damages arising from participation in the Championships.
• WSF recommends that all officials and participants have full travel, medical and property insurance when travelling to any Championships.

PRIVACY POLICY
The tournament shall be run under the terms and conditions as set out in WORLD SQUASH PRIVACY POLICY as published on the WSF website www.worldsquash.org
The team will be publishing draws, results, photos of players as well as live footage from matches, players and the venue.
As this is part of the tournament regulations, the host and organisers will deem that players/managers/coaches have accepted these regulations by entering the tournament.
